Jonathan Saraga has competed internationally as a trumpeter and jazz musician, and has secured a first place title in the International Trumpet Guild Jazz Improvisation Competition and has competed as one of 5 world-wide finalists in the Carmine Caruso Jazz Trumpet Solo Competition. He not only holds Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees, but has performed at New York's Blue Note Jazz Festival, on WBGO 88.3FM, in a Paramount Pictures film, toured the United States with off-broadway productions and performed and recorded nationwide and internationally. He has shared the stage with many of the world's renowned jazz musicians, such as Jon Faddis, Wynton Marsalis, Jimmy Greene, Paquito D'Rivera, Arturo O'Farril, Ralph Peterson, Mulgrew Miller, and many more.
