The Watchung Arts Center will be hosting its second annual “International Jazz Concert” on Sunday, April 12 at 3:00 pm.
This concert is registered with UNESCO as an offical International Jazz Day event.
April has been designated as Jazz Appreciation Month by the Smithsonian Institute's National Museum of American History since 2001.
International Jazz Day was organized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization ("UNESCO") in 2011 "to highlight jazz and its diplomatic role of uniting people in all corners of the globe."
Advance ticket purchase recommended because Chris DeVito's groups have filled both the Watchung Arts Center (Valentine's Concerts for the past 4 years) and Liberty Corner's Douglas Hall (for the past 5 Malawi Vision Jazz Fundraisers at Liberty Corner Church).
