Blue Truffle Music, LLC has been organizing, sponsoring and promoting live jazz performances and publishing resourceful newsletters since 2011.
As America’s original art form, jazz has a complicated yet fascinating history best defined by its "ability to connect communities and promote dialogue and peace", as stated by Audrey Azoulay, Director General of the United Nations (UNESCO) in 2025. We strive to provide "The Art of Fine Jazz" to both new and experienced fans who are curious to learn why the genre, synonymous with intricate improvisation, harmonies, and rhythm, is a landmark of human culture.
In so doing, we also work to discover and promote jazz artists that we believe are deserving of wider recognition. Contrary to prioritizing commercial success, most jazz artists are focused on improving the technical skills required to pursue the fine art of jazz improvisation. Because they value artistic excellence over stardom, we believe that they are too often overlooked by the general media. Accordingly, our new Artist Spotlight series features such artists on a regular basis.
In addition to our Artist Spotlight series, we publish articles on various topics that can educate people about jazz, such as: Blue Truffle events, International Jazz Day, Jazz Appreciation Month ("JAM"), jazz improvisation and creativity, community jazz organizations, jazz fan tips, jazz radio, etc. The best way to stay informed about Blue Truffle Music is through our free online newsletter or social media.
